After handling the creative aspect of all the shows, including 'Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev' and 'Siya Ke Ram' produced by her, husband Nikhil Sinha, Sohanna is set to embark on a new journey. She is now moving on to film-making and has started the pre-production work of her film, which will go on the floor in September. She is going to add another first to her list as she turns director with the movie.
"I have never directed, not even on television," she says, adding, "I have learnt many things from Nikhil, especially the technical aspect of film-making, which is going to come in handy during the shoot.”
Talking about the cast of her film, Sohanna, who has done a film-making course in London, says, “It is not a glamorous film. We will be casting theatre artistes as the roles are performance-based."
Since 'Siya Ke Ram' is currently on air, how will she balance the two projects at a time? “'Siya Ke Ram' is set. I don’t think they need me at this phase. Besides, I have a fantastic team taking care of all the requirements,” replies Sohanna.
