Sofia Hayat refuses to promote her film Six-X; says she has changed from a sex symbol to a saint

Sofia Hayat, who turned into a nun recently, had shot for the film Six X before her transition. The film is due to release next month, but now owing to the sea change in her mindset, Sofia has blatantly refused to dub for a scene and declined to promote it as well. This has made the director of the film send a legal notice to her.

Clarifying her stand on the same, Sofia took to her Instagram and wrote: I think I gave the correct statement.I made the film Six-X over a year ago. I changed. I evolved. I will not be bullied. A woman has a right to go from sex symbol to Saint. My incarnation as Mother Mary is so sacred there is no way I would go back to promote any film with content that is sexy. I just do not hold the same beliefs anymore. Why would I promote a movie where I am wearing underwear when I am now the Divine Holy Mother. I want this film banned!"

As reported by The Times of India, the director of the film had earlier said,"Our calls and messages to Sofia have gone unanswered and unaddressed. We have been forced to hire a dubbing artiste as she has refused to dub the scene. In fact, she is fighting tooth and nail to stop the film from releasing. We are planning legal action against her. Since she is a foreign national, she is not registered with CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes' Association) and hence, we can't pressurise her through the governing body."
