Smriti Irani reveals ‘she is not a part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi spin-off’; issues legal warning
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been entertaining the audience with its engaging episodes ever since the very start. Recently, there have been reports of the show’s spin-off. However, Smriti has now reacted to it and confirmed that she isn’t a part of the spin-off of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Smriti made it to the comment section of an Instagram page that was talking about the spin-off of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, claiming that Smriti will be a part of it. However, Smriti refuted the claims and mentioned that she isn’t associated with any other show apart from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
The comment read, “May want to check PR content with authorities that have IP rights. I am not associated with any other show except Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. No spin-off program is authorised for my engagement legally, which entitles use of my image and/or personality. Do check so that viewers are not misinformed.”
Fans reacted to Smriti Irani’s comment and shared their opinions on social media. While some supported her decision, others said that the show would be incomplete without her. One user wrote, “Tulsi ke bina Kyunki possible hi nahi hai.” Another commented, “We only want Smriti Irani in Kyunki, otherwise it won’t feel the same.” One fan also wrote, “Good that she clarified, fake news spreads very fast.”
Apart from Smriti Irani, the show features Amar Upadhyay, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Ritu Seth, Ketaki Dave, and Komolika Guhathakurta, all reprising their earlier roles. The new cast includes Rohit Suchanti, Shagun Sharma, Aman Gandhi, Tanisha Mehta, Prachi Singh, and Ankit Bhatia.
