Actress Simran Sharma, who was seen in shows like Shravani and Drishti, is all set to play a parallel lead in Dahej Daasi. She shares that shooting for the show has been both exciting and challenging for her. “It is my second show as a parallel lead and this one will always have a special place in my heart. Also, travelling to Naigaon for shoot everyday is a challenge for me,” she says.
On working with Sayantani Ghosh in the show, Simran says, “I am her fan. I grew up watching her and sharing the same screen with her is like a dream come true for me. She is so mesmerising and inspiring. She is just perfect in every sense. I feel lucky to be working with her as there’s a lot to learn while working with her. We take out time in between our shots to discuss life and other stuff and I really look forward to that time.”
Simran adds that after this show she is hoping to be a part of a project on OTT. “That is what I am manifesting next,” she says, adding that over the years she has changed a lot. “The industry has changed me in a lot of ways, but I am forever going to the student of arts. My view on people’s perception has changed and now I know the importance of having one’s own experiences,” she adds.
