Original Prerna of television was a single mom to her now teenage daughter Palak until she married Abhinav Kohli. Shweta was first married to actor Raja Chaudhry but she filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic violence. Many years later, she married her co-star Abhinav and gave birth to her son Reyansh in 2016. Navya fame Somya Seth, who is now settled in the US, is raising her two-year-old son Ayden on her own. Somya's marriage with entrepreneur husband Arun Kapoor in 2017 went kaput just after a year. She also hinted via her instagram posts of being in an abusive marriage, wherein she faced physical violence. Somya is currently residing in the US and raising Ayden on her own.

Senior TV actress Achint Kaur, who was last seen on the small screen in Jamai Raja, is a single mother to her 27-year-old son, Preetranjan. The actress got married at the age of 18 and it was an arranged marriage set up. But the couple parted ways later due to incompatibility issues.
