Shrimad Ramayan’s Atharva Sharma aka Kush on his Children's Day plans; says ‘We all contribute to buy yummy treats and play lots of games together’ - Exclusive

Atharva Sharma, who plays Kush in Shrimad Ramayan, recently shared his thoughts on Children’s Day with Times of India TV. Reflecting on the day’s significance, Atharva said, "Children's Day is all about having fun with friends and family." This day holds a special place in his heart, offering a break from his busy acting schedule and a chance to celebrate with loved ones.

Normally, Atharva celebrates Children’s Day by gathering with friends in his neighborhood. "In the evening, we all contribute to buy yummy treats and play lots of games together," he explained. One of his favorite memories was his visit to a local orphanage post-lockdown, where he spent time distributing sweets and making new friends. "It was amazing spending the day with my ‘unknown friends,’” he recalled warmly.

However, this year Atharva’s celebration will look a little different. He's currently in Gujarat, shooting for Shrimad Ramayan, so he plans to celebrate on set with his co-stars, especially those his age.

Atharva’s acting career began six years ago when he traveled to Mumbai for a reality show. Since then, he has worked in numerous shows, movies, web series, and over 200 advertisements, becoming a familiar face in the industry. "I just kept moving forward, and there’s been no looking back," he said, grateful for the opportunities he’s received at such a young age.


A dedicated fan of Akshay Kumar, Atharva admires the Bollywood superstar’s punctuality, which he considers one of the keys to success. Inspired by Akshay's discipline and work ethic, Atharva hopes to follow in his footsteps as he continues his journey in acting.
