Shoaib Ibrahim has been a devoted father to his little son Ruhaan, and his vlogs show how much he enjoys fatherhood. Even while managing
Dipika Kakar’s life-threatening illness and his own work commitments, the actor has always ensured that Ruhaan grows up in a happy and peaceful environment. Recently, during an Ask Me Anything session on his Instagram stories, Shoaib revealed how his life changed after his son’s birth.
Speaking about his new perspective on life, Shoaib said, “Ruhaan Ki birth ke baad mein thoda sa future ke baare mein sochne laga hoon.” (“After Ruhaan’s birth, I’ve started thinking a little more about the future.”) He added that earlier, he was not someone who planned too much or thought about savings. He trusted that God would take care of him in everything he did. But since Ruhaan was born, he feels a new sense of responsibility, saying, “Jabse Ruhaan hua hai tab se thoda sa fikar hoti hai.” (“Since Ruhaan was born, I’ve started worrying a little.”)
In another question on how he handles online trolls, Shoaib shared his positive approach. He said, “Trollers joh haina woh hote hi kinare krne layak hai. Agar aap unko kinare nahi karoge toh aap kinare lag jaaoge. Toh better hai ki unhe kinare kare aur positive hote hue apne kam karte chale unko bolne do joh bolna hai.” (“Trollers are best ignored. If you don’t ignore them, they will pull you down. So, it’s better to stay positive and focus on your work while letting them talk.”)
Earlier, Shoaib had opened about how Ruhaan coped when Dipika was in the hospital for her surgery. He shared that the toddler went three days without seeing his mother before finally breaking down and being taken to the hospital to see her. After spending some time with Dipika, Ruhaan returned home.
This year, the couple created an Instagram profile for Ruhaan. Their son’s debut post features a beautiful family photo of him with Shoaib and Dipika, captioned, “First post with mumma papa.” The couple also recently renovated their house, and Shoaib gave fans a glimpse of the newly remodelled living room. The current colour scheme includes white, beige, and gold, giving the space a dreamy and elegant look. The couple expressed their joy, saying that this transformation was something they had long desired.
Shoaib and Dipika tied the knot in February 2018 after dating for over three years. In June 2023, they welcomed their first child, Ruhaan. Dipika recently returned to television with the cooking reality show Celebrity MasterChef, though she had to leave midway due to health reasons. Shoaib, meanwhile, was last seen on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
