Shivin Narang on his latest music video 'Ijazzat Hai' with Jasmin Bhasin
Shivin has been part of some music videos before also and loves the genre. "I have not done so many music videos. I have been lucky that whatever music videos I have done, they have been with the biggest brands and have become top songs like, 'Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi', 'Sunn Zara', 'Dooriyan', 'Chadeya Fitoor', 'Toota Taara' etc."
"My last music video was 'Akhiyaan Na Akhiyaan' with Mukti Mohan and it was shot in Goa and the whole look and feel was international. People really liked my look and the song too. It was a dance number and it was the first time that I did a lot of romantic and heart-breaking stuff in a project. This was the first one in which I was dancing whereas in earlier ones I haven't danced much," he says.
The actor has been juggling between film shoots and music videos for sometime now.
"I am in the middle of a lot of exciting projects. When we talk about films, they are made with a lot of love and they take their own sweet time to get released. I am working on a couple of projects right now and they are big ones. They are really special to me as an actor. Talking about music videos, not quantity-wise, but yes, all of them are very different."
"Like the last one was a dance number. Then I shot another one in the south with Aishwarya Rajnikant titled 'Musafir'. This one was inspired by how humanity is. In this video, my look was very different. Generally, people look very glamorous in their music video but this was a de-glam look and was really appreciated," he says.
"I feel lucky and blessed. I am just going with the flow. When you are working it's very important to work on yourself. I keep learning new things. Since the 90's, this trend of music videos has been thriving. Right now, the scenario in which we are living, there is space for everything whether it's films, web shows, videos etc."
"I am looking forward to doing a lot more of them. There are a few more songs that are coming up and I am looking forward to that," he says.
Adaa Khan has been missing from the small screen for a while now. But she hasn't quit the industry, she clarifies. So what has she been upto? Read on....
After a stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020, Adaa was seen in a special episode of Naagin 6 a few months ago. The actress, however, has not appeared in a full-fledged daily soap since Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. She reveals, “Sitara ended in 2019, after which I did Khatron Ke Khiladi. Post that, I took to travelling and visited eight countries before COVID hit in March 2020."
Life changed for everyone in the last two years. Talking about this period, Adaa says, "Things came to a standstill for two years after. Everybody was sitting at home. But it worked for me because I spent all that time with my family. Later I also got busy with work. I did three OTT projects and a couple of music videos.”
There has been speculation that she has quit the television industry. But Adaa rubbishes these rumours and reveals that she is simply waiting for the right project to come by. “I don’t know why, but people think I have quit the industry. I’d like to clarify that I am very much a part of the industry," she says.
Adaa says she will never quit the television industry. She says, "Just because I haven’t taken up a full-fledged role on a show in a while, that doesn’t mean I have quit the medium. I am still on the lookout for a good project." She adds, “TV has given me everything I have today. I may step away from time to time to explore more opportunities, but I won’t ever keep away from the small screen.”
A career in television gives one fame and money, but it also means dealing with uncertainty and insecurities. So how has she handled this in her 13-year career? “Yes, the profession is as demanding as it is rewarding. Thankfully, I live with my family and they are always around to support me," she says.
Talking further about the ups and downs in showbiz Adaa says, "As for the unpredictability, not just the acting industry, even life is! But that’s a part and parcel of life. One always goes through good times and bad times. Otherwise we wouldn’t appreciate life for what it offers. One has to take things in their stride and deal with difficult situations one day at a time.”
On the personal front, she is single and says, “My forever commitment is to take care of myself and my family. As for a relationship and settling down, I believe in destiny and always say that it will happen when it is destined to.”
