Shilpa enjoying her moment
She insists that people are compelled to watch these soaps for the lack of choice.
Shilpa Anand asserts that television is a big medium and it is ironical that one only gets to watch the saas-bahu sagas. She says that working in one of the sob operas is completely an actor's choice but she doesn't feel that she will be able to carry off a character that wears a saree 24*7.
She insists that people are compelled to watch these soaps for the lack of choice. Having acted in South Indian films, Shilpa is all set to enjoy her role in the new soap on the telly Dill Mill Gayye, as she felt working in South Indian films was monotonous.
