Shikhar Dhawan, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Abhishek Malhan Headline ‘Battleground 2’
After a strong first season, Battleground returns with an all-new edition. The makers of the dropped the teaser for the second season and introduced the four team owners- Mumbai Strikers led by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Bhojpuri Bhaukaals led by Khesari Lal Yadav, Delhi Dominators led by Abhishek Malhan, and Telugu Tigers led by Rahul Chaudhari. Shikhar Dhawan is back as Supermentor and will be seen guiding the contestants with his experience.
In the show, 16 contestants will be split into four teams and will face intense physical and mental challenges. Contestants will face daily challenges to check their consistency, along with intense ‘Fight Club Weekend’ battles that decide who gets eliminated. In the end, one male and one female contestant will win the title of India’s ‘Ultimate Fitness Star.’
Sharing the excitement, Shikhar Dhawan said, “Season 1 proved us the kind of passion and potential this format brings out, and I’m excited to be back for an even bigger Season 2. This time, the bar is higher, the challenges tougher, and the journey more demanding. What excites me most is seeing contestants discover what they are truly capable of."
Abhishek Malhan, who took the trophy home in Season 1, shared, “Winning the first season gave me a real understanding of what it takes to succeed in this format, from building the right strategy to handling pressure at every stage. Stepping back into the game, my focus is on guiding my team with that experience."
Khesari Lal Yadav added, “This is a test of strength, passion and grit. I’m here to lead my team with full force and ensure we give our best in every challenge. We are here to compete fiercely and come out on top.”
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary said, “Battleground tests you in ways you don’t expect. It’s not just strength, it’s resilience, belief, and staying steady when things get tough. That’s the mindset my team is bringing into every task. It’s going to be a ride.”
