Shibani Dandekar has been living out of a suitcase.
READ ALSO: I don’t like the idea of horse-drawn carriages: Shibani Dandekar While she has been hosting events in multiple cities, she is also gearing up to begin shooting for a Marathi film, in which she essays the lead role. “I’m excited as I play an experimental character. The movie will be helmed by a director who is famous in the Marathi as well as Hindi film industry. I can’t wait to begin shooting,” she says. The chirpy model-turned-actress, who was seen in 'Roy' and 'Shaandaar' last year, has another Bollywood film in the pipeline, too.
READ ALSO: Shibani Dandekar: Love the butter chicken at Pandara Road Shibani started out anchoring a number of shows, including 'Namaste America', and exclaims she can’t wait to get back to doing TV shows in Los Angeles. “TV in India has undergone a tremendous change and I’ve been a part of reality shows. However, I’d love to do a series in Hollywood and I’m working towards it. My sisters (Anusha and Apeksha) and I were approached to do a reality show, on the lines of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians', but I felt it would work only in English. So at the moment, I’m focusing on my LA plans,” she says.

I want to do different things and experiment with formats that I haven’t done before,” she reasons. Her recent on-screen kiss with Dino Morea in a reality show was the talk of the town. Is something brewing between the two? “That was part of the script; he was Prince Charming and I was Cinderella and the kiss went with the act. We are both dating, but not each other,” she signs off, with a laugh.
