Shehzada Dhami, Nyrraa Banerji, Chaahat Pandey and Avinash Mishra set to be locked up inside Bigg Boss 18

The team behind Bigg Boss is working round the clock to bring together an interesting mix of contestants for the 18th season of the reality show. We have now learnt that the makers have signed up Shehzada Dhami, Nyrraa Banerji, Avinash Mishra, and Chaahat Pandey for the upcoming edition.

Shehzada, who has been part of shows such as Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, Choti Sarrdaarni, and Shubh Shagun, made headlines after his abrupt exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH). He had joined as the new male lead after the show’s generation leap, following the exit of Harshad Chopda. However, just four months later, the makers of YRKKH terminated him, citing unprofessionalism.

Nyyraa, who is best known for her role as Divya in the supernatural show Divya Drishti, is another confirmed contestant. She has also appeared in shows like Rakshabandhan... Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal and Pishachini. Bigg Boss 18 will mark her second stint in the non-fiction genre, following her appearance in the 13th season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Avinash Mishra, who was last seen in Meetha Khatta Pyar Hamaara, has been part of shows such as Sethji, Ishqbaaaz, Yeh Teri Galiyan, Nath – Zewar Ya Zanjeer, and Titli. Interestingly, this season of Bigg Boss will reunite him with his Nath co-actor Chaahat Pandey for the third time, after their previous work together in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya.

Chaahat, who has been part of Nath since its inception and throughout two major time leaps, is currently wrapping up her final scenes before entering the Bigg Boss house. She has also appeared in shows like Tenali Rama, Hamari Bahu Silk, Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Shree Krishn – Sarvkala Sampann, and Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi.




A Look Back: The 17th season of Bigg Boss was won by Munawar Faruqui, with Abhishek Kumar as the first runner-up. Prior to that, rapper MC Stan emerged as the winner in the 16th season, while Shiv Thakare claimed the runner-up spot. Tejasswi Prakash won the 15th season of the reality show, with Pratik Sehajpal finishing in second place.
