Shehnaaz Gill reveals how Sidharth Shukla's demise changed her; says 'Main Wahi Bigg Boss Wali Nahi Rahi'
Shenaaz Gill, who caught everyone's attention after participating in Bigg Boss 13, recently opened up about how close friend Sidharth Shukla's sudden death changed her as a person and her perspective about life. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Shehnaaz spoke about how Sidharth's sudden demise in September 2021 affected her. The actor, who passed away at 40 due to a cardiac arrest, left his fans and loved ones devastated, and Shehnaaz was among those who were deeply shocked by the loss.
Speaking about her journey after Sidharth's demise, she said, "Sidharth mujhe bohot maturity deke gaye hai. Jab woh sab kuch hua, uske baad mein mature ho gayi hoon. Nahi toh mein wahi Bigg Boss wali hoti — kisi duniya ki parwah nahi, kuch nahi."
The actress and singer shared that the girl the audiences saw on Bigg Boss 13 had gone through many struggles, but nothing compared to the kind of loss she experienced after Sidharth’s passing. He said, "I was carefree, impulsive, and happy-go-lucky, that innocence changed after he left."
Further in the podcast, Shehnaaz shared that she often comes across old Bigg Boss clips on social media and feels shocked at how much she has changed since then. “Sometimes I see those reels and think, ‘Main kya thi? Main aise thi?’ Life has changed me. That girl was different — spontaneous and cheerful. Zindagi apne aap badal gayi, aur mere bhai ne bhi mujhe badal diya," she said.
