Sheena Bajaj: I am talented enough to play the lead in a TV show, won't settle for anything else

It’s been almost one and half years since Sheena Bajaj has done a TV show. Sheena was last seen in the TV show Mariam Khan Reporting Live in 2019. The actress has been on a break due to her surgery too. And now, she soon wants to be back in action. Says Sheena, “It has been sometime that I have been away from work. When the show Mariam Khan Reporting Live got over and I could really think to take up another project, the entire world was in the grip of the pandemic.And after that I had to undergo a surgery. It took me about one and a half years to recover. Now, I’m ready to start shooting.”

Sheena has also been dabbled in Bollywood films and has been part of films like Bhoot Unkle, Yaadein, Kalyug, Footpath, to name a few, as a child artiste. Sheena who has been associated with the entertainment industry for almost two decades now, now wants to focus on meaty roles in Bollywood films. She further adds, “If I get good offers then I will definitely do Hindi shows. I even got many calls for some prominent characters in TV shows, but I feel I am talented enough to play the lead and not the parallel lead or just a small role. That's not what I want to focus on right now. I’m also getting a few offers, but waiting for a good show as a lead, won't settle for anything else just now.”
Even though she has been away from TV and Bollywood for a bit now, Sheena manages to stay connected with her fans. “I have been extremely active on social media. I became more active on social media where I shared all the aspects of my life, including details about my surgery, festivals and even shared videos of cooking during lockdown. I constantly share every moment of importance with my social media family. I feel it’s very important. I don’t neglect my fan pages because constant interaction with fans is important.”
