In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 4, Moderate, founded by Sreeram Reddy Vanga, Dr. Lalitha Palle and Kartikeya Kabra, pitch their Hyderabad-based health brand.

Moderate’s flagship product, Calorie Crusher Tablets, is designed to reduce calorie and carbohydrate absorption from meals, perfect for those who love food but also want to keep their fitness goals in check.

Their ask Rs 50 lakh for 1.25% percent. Peyush Bansal says ‘Best of luck with Anupam’ a the judge is known for his expertise in fitness. Vineeta Singh added, ‘We will wait and watch.’

As Lalitha shares her long list of work expertise, Anupam asks, “That’s it?” and Lalitha adds more. Vineeta jokes, “We are sold.”

Anupam questions them about their product. Lalitha explains how their product works. Anupam says ‘conceptually thoda bhari hai’.

Anupam and Lalitha get into a major discussion on how their calorie-burning product functions. Kunal Bahl says, “Your product is going to be scrutinized as soon as the episode airs based on the claims you're making.”

Vineeta backs out saying there’s skepticism around the side-effects of the products.

Aman Gupta says, “Thank you for the science class. Being a commerce student, I got to learn a lot. Lalitha ji seeing you, I feel I can trust you.” He offers Rs 50 lakh for 2.5%. Kunal on the other hand liked the name but not the packaging. Kunal offers Rs 1 crore for 5%. The founders negotiate for 3.3% and ask for both of them to join.

Kunal and Aman agree to join for 5% and they negotiate for 4%. Finally, they crack the deal for Rs 1crore for 5%.
