In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 2, founders of an oral hygiene brand present their products. Their brand offers smart and customised oral hygiene products and gadgets.

Their ask is Rs 80 lakh for 1%. Anupam Mittal reacts saying, “Mujhe cavity hogayi sunn ke.”

The Sharks take a look at their products and ask the founders more about their story. Pitchers Tushar Khurana and Jatan Bawa share how they met to form their brand

While Anupam discusses the business, Vineeta and Namita step aside to discuss a deal. The founders say, “We're not the smartest people but we are trying to build our brand the strongest in our own way.”

Vineeta asks if they wish to make it a profitable brand without burning out. They agree. Vineeta and Namita offer them Rs 80 lakh for 4% equity. Peyush tells them if they want all 5 sharks and the founders agree.

However, Anupam doesn't want to be a part of it because they haven't done anything disruptive. Aman also wishes to be out. They go for 3 Sharks deal – Peyush, Namita and Vineeta with Rs 80 lakh for 2.5% equity.

The next pitchers are two sisters Punya and Parina Chugh, who own a loungewear brand. They sell a fashionable range of sleepwear, loungewear and travel wear, which are comfortable, handmade, vibrant and trendy designs. The sisters recall starting their business with Rs 1500 and in two days making Rs 80 thousand. Their ask is Rs 75 lakh for 6 % equity.

The sisters narrate going through a financial crisis, when their father’s business hit rock bottom and was left with nothing. Their parents, who were also present in the background during the pitch, were in tears. The sisters thought of making nightwear for plus size and went scouting for fabrics one night. They found some fabric, got them stitched and started selling through social media and became a hit.

The sisters then shared that they helped their father resurrect his bathroom fitting business and also invested in his company.

Vineeta shares that she once had tried to launch a loungewear brand 15 years back and found it was difficult to scale and survive. She shares that when it comes to sleepwear, people don’t want to show brands and want cheap products. Aman shared that they don't need investors. Anupam makes an offer to support them. Peyush also joins and together they make an offer of: Rs 25 lakh and 20% equity and 50 lakh debt at 12% interest. They make a counter offer of Rs 75 lakh at 15% equity. The Sharks don’t agree and the founders are unable to agree to their deal. As Anupam and Aman wish them luck, the sisters share, “Our dream is to sit on those chairs one day.”

The third pitchers of the day are an eye cure brand with help of online therapy. They claim to be the world's first AI-based vision therapy website that provides free eye-screening and suggests vision therapy exercises with highest efficacy, advanced vision therapy software and they are available online and offline.

Pitchers Puneet, Amit Sahni and Jatin Kaushik discuss the revenue model. Here, Namita and Peyush once again get into a deal war. Peyush negates each of Namita's visions for the pitcher. Peyush and Namita cross question each other on how they wish to help the pitchers. Namita first offers Rs 40 lakh for 10% equity. Peyush tells the pitcher that Namita won’t be able to help them in impacting the way they want. Peyush recalls that once an employee’s son had a problem and they used the pitcher’s solution, which helped them. He now wants to help them for the cause. Namita asks him why he didn’t help them back then. Peyush tells her that he wasn’t directly approaching them and the vision Namita has for them, he doesn’t believe in that model. Peyush also makes the same offer. Namita revises her offer to Rs 40 lakh and 7.5% and Peyush says that he won't get into a war and debate. At this point, Aman Gupta says, “I can see Amar and Prem from Andaz Apna Apna in Namita and Peyush and you guys are Raveena and Karishma.” Namita keeps revising her offer to get the deal.

Anupam gives the pitchers 5 sec to decide. They agree with Peyush's vision and agree to his deal of Rs 50 lakh and 10% equity. Namita shares that Peyush is her friend and she will help them with the network, he thanks her.
