Actress Shalini Kapoor is currently seen in the TV show Iss Ishq Ka Rab Rakha, essaying the role of Meher Bajwa shares how she has learnt to manage her personal life with her professional life. The actress is the mother of a 14-year-old daughter Aadyya.
The actress says, "I have learnt to balance my work and motherhood over the years and now I have got the hang of it. Before leaving the house for work, I make sure about all the meals that will be cooked by the helper in the day for the family, my daughter's schedule and her studies. Even if I am busy, my husband Rohit and I have divided her subjects between us and we take rounds to teach her. Work and family are both very integral parts of my life.
She adds, "As a parent of a growing up child our bandwidth of responsibility has broadened. Apart from the curriculum, we want to impart good ethics in Aadyya. We think that an all-round development of the child should happen to raise a good human being."
On the work front, Shalini is best known for featuring in shows like Qubool Hai, Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, and Piya Abhimani among others. She has also acted in films like Shehzada, and Dhadak.
