"The weight of portraying a character like Arjun, someone people know, admire, and respect, was overwhelming," Shaheer admitted, his voice tinged with emotion. "It wasn’t just about acting—it was about embodying the essence of a hero who represents strength, honor, and devotion. On the day of the show’s launch, it all hit me. I locked myself in the bathroom, with tears streaming down my face. The mix of fear, hope, and pressure to live up to Arjun’s legacy was too much to contain."

Mahabharat not only highlighted Shaheer’s versatility but also solidified his position as one of Indian television’s most admired actors. His portrayal of Arjun resonated deeply with viewers, making him synonymous with the character even a decade later.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary, the show’s creator and producer, recounted witnessing Shaheer’s vulnerable moment and offering reassurance. "I could sense the pressure he was under. It was a monumental role, and he was carrying the weight of global expectations," Siddharth shared. "I went to him, hugged him, and reminded him that this was a shared journey—a collective responsibility. He wasn’t alone in this."

That emotional exchange proved pivotal, helping Shaheer channel his anxieties into a performance that continues to be celebrated.
