However, dismissing the rumours, Shaheer says, “Erica is fun, but I am not dating her. People assume that we are dating because we spend a lot of time together on the set. I don’t intend to get into a relationship and marriage is not in the pipeline for another couple of years.”
Erica echoes the same sentiment, “Shaheer and I are good friends. We enjoy each other’s company as we have common interests. That’s about it.”
On alleged tantrums and a new hero in his show: A recent report suggested that the makers of the show will introduce a new hero following the buzz that Shaheer may not renew his contract. However, Shaheer refutes the claim, saying, “A new character is being introduced, but I am not leaving. The show is close to my heart and is progressing as it was narrated to me.”
Talking about his alleged tantrums, he says, “I have returned to India after two years and needed time to set up my place. Maybe, that led people to think that I was throwing tantrums as I wasn’t available. However, I don’t care about it as my personal life is important to me.”
