Tele stars are a part and parcel of aam aadmi’s life
Unlike films, television shares a very close space with its viewers. Television actors are a part and parcel of aam aadmi’s life. The kind of warmth and affection we get from public is overwhelming.
TV ensures a sense of security to us in terms of visibility and money. Television actors are only offered character roles in films. I agree, films give you the much-needed high, but it’s only once in a while. You have to work hard while doing a TV serial. It demands dedication to pull off a character for a series of 300 episodes. In TV serials, you don’t really get the chance to retake until you get that perfect shot. Owing to the tight telecast schedules, one has to ensure that the shots are okayed in a single take.
In love with M.P.
I have been associated with Madhya Pradesh since a very long time. I keep coming to Indore and Bhopal for various theatre shows. I’m a big-time foodie and can’t resist gorging on the the authentic lip-smacking delicacies of the state. Be it daal-baati or poha-jalebi of Indore’s Sarafa or Bhopal’s shahi biryani, I never miss a chance to come back to this wonderful state. I have noticed tremendous development in this state, which also includes massive cinematic exposure onscreen. Some big banners are already shooting across various parts of MP and very soon, tele world too will shift its focus here. I’m looking forward to shooting in this state, it’ll be great fun. I love MP.
Television indeed has a very bright future
People often complain that content shown on television is stereotypical and there’s a lack of experimentation. Par aise hi kisi serial ke 500 episodes pure nahi hote. Yes, we need to explore more, but that doesn’t imply that daily soaps are not watched by anyone. Now, there are really impressive content-driven shows being telecast on TV. I’m sure if the trend continues, television serials will have a very bright future, where you’ll get to see both traditional and contemporary concepts.
