Sehban Azim on 7 years of Tujhse Hai Raabta; says ‘Nothing has changed for us as a team’ – Exclusive

Sehban Azim, who won hearts as Malhar Rane in the popular television drama Tujhse Hai Raabta, recently reflected on the show completing seven years since its launch. In a heartfelt conversation with Times of India TV, the actor shared how deeply connected the entire team remains even after the show ended in 2021.

“To be honest, it still feels like yesterday,” Sehban said with a smile. “Nothing has changed for us as a team. We are still connected and close, and when I say ‘we,’ it includes the entire Raabta team, including our dearest producer Sonali Jaffer and Amit Jaffer. We were all supposed to meet today to celebrate, but I’m in Delhi for some work. So once I’m back, we will surely have a get-together. I’m thankful to God, and I’m glad destiny got us together. This relationship will be cherished for a lifetime.”

Tujhse Hai Raabta, which aired from 2018 to 2021, was a romantic drama revolving around the unique bond between Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) and her stepmother Anupriya (Poorva Gokhale). Sehban played the role of Malhar Rane, a dedicated police officer who is reluctantly forced to marry Kalyani. Over time, their relationship blossomed into love, with Malhar’s son Moksh playing a crucial role in bringing them closer.

Sehban, who has also been part of popular shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Bepannaah, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Thapki Pyar Ki, and Spy Bahu, credits Tujhse Hai Raabta for giving him not only a memorable character but also lifelong friendships.

Even years after its conclusion, the show continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans and its cast, with Sehban promising a reunion celebration as soon as his schedule allows.
