Marriage is not a bed of roses and these TV couples have felt the thorns. Going through difficult phases in their marriages, opening about their struggles to overcoming them, these telly couples have been through it together. Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, have been married since 2018 and in 2020 they made a big revelation about contemplating divorce in Bigg Boss 14 house. Rubina revealed this on national TV that they decided to give their marriage a second chance and that’s why they participated in the show. Currently, the couple has worked out on their marriage and is going strong. Travelling together, doing shows to spending quality time, Rubina and Abhinav have come a long way post the reality show.

Rochelle Rao and Keith Sequeira had spoke about seeking counseling sessions. While the couple confesses that they didn’t go through any rough patch, but decided to give it a try after their friends suggested. Speaking to BT, the couple said, “The course was about catching up with each other and figuring out what we have learnt about each other in the last couple of years. Things that we may want to talk about or discuss in a neutral way and discovering more about each other as well.” They pursued this offbeat course amid the pandemic to keep the spark alive in their relationship.

Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari and his wife Pallavi revealed that their marriage was on the rocks and had filed for divorce. After having an arranged marriage, the couple faced compatibility issues and Pallavi had left Ankit. However, when their little daughter fell ill and was hospitalised, Ankit came to meet his wife and daughter and rethought about the divorce. Ankita shared on Smart Jodi that he decided to work on his marriage and all is well now in their marital life.

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen had a grand wedding in Goa but the couple has been facing a lot of issues in their marriage. They have often unfollowed each other on social media, they have stay separately with Rajeev living in his Delhi and Dubai house and Charu living in Mumbai and Jaipur. The couple came together when Charu announced pregnancy and looked like everything was fine. They also bought a house to welcome their new born. But soon after giving birth, their troubles cropped up and the same pattern followed. After tying the knot in June 2019, in 2020, Charu told BT, “If my marriage is destined to get better, it will. I have left it to God. If there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am sure I will see it someday.” Currently, after months of staying separately, Charu and Rajeev came together to celebrate Holi with their newborn Ziana.

Currently seen in Smart Jodi, Monalisa and Vikrant shared that how it was difficult for them to get married because of her profession. Monalisa expressed, “There came a time when I felt I wouldn’t be able to get married. I did odd jobs, took up any project that came my way to fend my family. People don’t know what I have been through. They have just labeled me and judged me because of my work and clothes.” She further expressed that even after getting married, Vikrant would get to hear that he married Monalisa for her money. Monalisa shared, “Vikrant was my savior.”

Puja and Kunal had known each other for a decade before tying the knot. However, before getting engaged, the couple had parted ways. Only after Puja and Kunal parted ways, the two realised the intensity of love they had for each other. In an interview with TOI, Kunal had then said, “Earlier I had commitment phobia and I was running away from taking a major decision in my life. I was confused, but it was Puja's unconditional love for me which changed my heart and made me believe she is the one.” After coming together, they got engaged, married and now are parents to little Krishiv.
