Meghna Naidu, who is currently in Mumbai, spoke about baby plans. The actress has permanently moved to Dubai post her marriage with Portuguese husband Luis Miguel Reis, and said visiting India was a must after the Covid-19 pandemic because she wanted to see her family.
She says, "I love my country. My family is here. As I moved to Dubai permanently since last four years, I have made sure to visit India once in a month or two.
Be it because of my work or just to spend time with my parents. But due to lockdown, I couldn't make it to India for a year, I was disappointed. Being here with family is like rejuvenation. Coming here was much needed after the lockdown.
However I'm thankful to my husband who pampered me too much and was so loving all the while during lockdown phase."
Many star couples have come out with good news about expecting a baby. Ask her about wishing to embrace motherhood, the Sasural Simar Ka actress said, "We haven't planned anything yet. If it happens naturally whenever it happens it will be a blessing for us. It is a very exciting thought though."
The actress, who keeps herself busy doing events, fashion shoot has been on break for long. On resuming she adds, "I'm going back to Dubai next week. Luis is very concerned about me because of the rise in cases here. I have no plans to return back to work till all this Covid situation settles down and till travelling becomes easier in between countries. As living in Dubai and working in India is not really possible at the moment. Earlier, I would hop on a flight from Dubai and come to India for shows, events or shoots but now with all the travel restrictions it is quite impossible to plan anything."
