Sara Khan addresses trolls after interfaith marriage with Krish Pathak: ‘Any religion does not teach you to disrespect others’
Actor Sara Khan recently responded to negative comments and after her marriage to actor . The couple, who officially got married in an intimate court ceremony on 6th October, faced criticism online due to their different religious backgrounds. Sara recently took to Instagram to address the situation, where she shared her thoughts and thanked those who supported them.
Sara Khan and Krish Pathak received a mix of reactions on social media after announcing their marriage. While some users disapproved of the couple’s different cultural and religious backgrounds, many fans and well-wishers sent congratulatory messages and blessings to the newlyweds.
In her Instagram video, Sara spoke openly about the negative comments. She said, “Please learn that any religion does not teach you to put down any other religion or beliefs or disrespect anyone. We are sharing our marital status with our well-wishers and not asking for anyone’s approval because we already have the approval of our families and the law. Any relation with my God is mine, completely mine. No one has any right to comment between me and my God. No religion teaches you to say bad words or interfere in someone’s life.”
Sara also highlighted the support they received from their families. She said, “Krish and I belong to different cultures, but we believe both our religions taught us love. Our families taught us to respect others first and not to hurt anyone. We also think so, we think alike… I want to thank all the positive well-wishers for your immense love.”
The actress further thanked her fans and supporters for their blessings and kind words. On Instagram, she wrote, “Thank you, everyone, and love, love, and only love to you all.”
Krish Pathak also responded to Sara’s post with a sweet line from a popular song, writing, “Tujh mein rab dikhta hai…. Yaara mein kya karoon.”
Sara and Krish’s court marriage was followed by a series of pictures shared on social media, capturing their happiness and love for each other. Sara mentioned that the couple will also have a Nikah ceremony and a traditional Pahadi wedding to celebrate their union with their families and close friends.
