Sanjeev Kapoor in Cambodia

Sanjeev Kapoor, who is being seen these days on Masterchef India Season 3 is currently in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Kapoor left for Cambodia Sunday night, on March 17, for the Clean Cooking Forum 2013 being held there.
On his way to the airport, over the phone, he said that he was glad to be part of this initiative taken by the United Nations. “Attention to clean cooking solutions is imperative in the face of the fact that four million people die every year due to pollution from cooking stove.”
Kapoor, who debuted on Masterchef India this season alongside Vikas Khannaand KunalKapoor, returns to the city on Thursday, March 21, which is the last day of the forum.
Masterchef India Season 3 sees Kapoor and his co-judges encouraging and guiding the home cooks of India. This time around, the show brings to the viewers a very ‘desi’flavour. “More emphasis has been placed on Indian cuisine and ingredients and the world food that is popular with Indians,” says the chef.
He tells us that he’s proud that something like this (a food show) is on a General Entertainment Channel (GEC) on prime time. “My association with Masterchef India 3 actually compliments my channel Food Food.”
