Sana Khan reacts to viral video where she refused to pose with Baseer Ali; says, “Mujhe toh pata bhi nahi…”
Sana Khan has been making headlines recently after a video of her surfaced on the internet. She was seen posing with her husband, Mufti Anas. When the paps asked her to pose with Baseer Ali, she politely refused, and the video went viral on social media. Sana has now reacted to it, sharing her take on the incident.
It began with Baseer Ali sharing his reaction to the viral moment. Speaking to Filmygyaan, he said, “Woh ek Mufti ki biwi hain. Islam ko deep follow karti hain. Unhone jo kiya, woh bilkul theek tha.” (She is a Mufti’s wife and deeply follows Islam. What she did was absolutely right.)
Sana Khan also spoke about the situation in a video. She clarified, “Mujhe toh pata bhi nahi tha kya ho gaya. Log jaante hain, woh alag cheez hai. Woh samajh jayenge, yeh hamare bhai hain.”
Sana Khan recently opened up about her secret marriage and addressed claims of allegedly being brainwashed by her husband, Mufti Anas. In a podcast with Rashami Desai, she said, “When our marriage was finalized, it was top secret. Nobody knew except my mom and dad. Nobody even knew the groom’s name. When I was applying mehndi, the mehndi artist asked me what the groom’s name was. I told her to leave it blank; we’ll write it next time.”
She further said, “The situation was such that major changes were happening in my life. I was literally transforming into a different person. And this was not something caused by my husband; it was something I wanted for myself. He was the one who guided me in that direction. People usually think that someone must have brainwashed me because my life changed so suddenly, but that’s not true. No one can influence you unless you want it yourself. I wanted peace. You get money, fame, name, and respect, but in the end, everyone is running after sukoon. Like most women, I also wanted to get married, have children, and build a good home.”
She also added, “They say that when your surroundings aren’t right, your decisions also tend to be wrong. As time passed, I learned a few things, and that’s why I value my relationship with him so much. I keep telling my husband that I could have never found anyone better than him. It was indeed a tough decision, but I went for it.”
