Saloni Haazir Aahe!

The pint-sized tornado, who leaves everyone rolling with laughter in her wake, hates interviews and is a stubborn perfectionist.
Saloni Haazir Aahe!
Her best friend is nine-years-old Sania.
She loves Maths and has a pink and lavender bicycle. Comedy is her speciality and she states toothily, I would make everyone laugh even in sob soaps! That we dont doubt at all and her histrionics on TV are a living proof of the comedy princess prowess. Representing the future of Indian telly screen, Saloni Daini has won applause and hearts alike.
Known popularly as Gangubai, the paan-spitting, navvari-clad, Maharashtrian tai, who doles out wisdom and pathetic shayaris, the eight-year-old is a treat to watch. Tell her you want to interview her and she smiles, eyes twinkling, Recorder nahin hai?
A student of Thakur Vidyalaya, Saloni has literally grown up in front of the camera. She acted in her uncles advertisement as a wobbly 18-month-old and went on to do several Marathi serials and films. The granddaughter of Bhalaji Pendharkar, one of the founders of the Marathi film industry, seems to have found her forte in comedy and has even won a couple of reality shows. But ask her about her career plans when she grows up and she says, Socha nahin hai, then adds, trying to pronounce, Veti... till her mother interjects, Veterinarian.
Talk veers to her famous character, Gangubai that she showcased with Chhote Miyan on Colors. Saloni says, I used to watch a Marathi serial, Gangubai Non-matric and followed the leads mannerisms and dressing style. She credits the show helpers, Mumukshu and Anu Mudgal and her partner-in-crime Rajiv Thakur for her successful performances. And her lucky charm? She blushes, I go to the bathroom before every performance as I feel it is lucky for me!
The little girl is definitely going places. She will soon be seen playing the daughter of Sushmita Sen and Anil Kapoor in Anees Bazmees comedy tentatively titled, No Problem. Up next is another reality show and a chat show. No horror? She smiles, I like watching horror, I used to get scared but dont anymore. Her sister, Saoni denies this vehemently and an argument ensues.
A kid who loves Snow White and Cinderella and gets excited performing in front of the camera, but frowns when her mother says she is more mature than her age. Well, this is as normal as it can get for a child who has to go for shoots, manage her studies, handle the jibes of her peers, and also make time to skip, cycle and swim, her pet hobbies.
