’, Sakshi will be seen in a completely different avatar – that of a tough

cop

. Sakshi is playing Shivani Malik, the head of Anti-Terror Unit (ATU), in the second season of ‘24’ and the actress says the work is completely opposite to whatever she has done so far. “‘24’ is in stark contrast to all the work I have done till date,” she says.

According to news reports, Sakshi says that she had to work hard on her body language and modulate her voice to get under the skin of her character. She says, “I had to convince myself that here I am not saving just my family. Here the nation’s security is at stake.” Elaborating on her voice modulating efforts, she says, I have a soft face and you can’t change that but Anil Kapoor (her co-star in the show) suggested me to play with my voice. I have modulated my voice to express emotions in the past too. Anil advised me to do straight-talk and remove all the emotional layering from the lines, because that would create an interesting contrast.”
