, opened up to us about his experience making a beautiful Ganesh idol at home, and his immense faith in the

Vighnaharta

.

Talking about what and who inspired him to make a Ganesh idol at home, he said, “I always wanted to make Ganesh ji, and all my actor friends made Ganesh ji at home, so I thought I’ll also learn how to do it, and I did it! My friends like Rithvik and Aryamann (Rithvik Dhanjani and Aryamann Seth) have been making Ganesh ji at home for the past two-three years, so that inspired me to make it too. And of course, it’s a step towards being eco-friendly.”

When asked how easy or difficult it was to make the idol, he said, “If you have Shiddat (dedication), it’s very easy to make Ganesh ji. It sure does take a lot of time and hard work, but in the end, one can be successful”

Talking about his love for Ganesha, Sahil says, “Lord Ganesha has played a very major role in my career and in my life. Staying in Bombay having no one, I only had faith in God. And giving my best shot in Bombay is the only thing I knew and I had. I do believe in all Gods a lot, but Ganesh ji and Krishna ji I believe in a lot!”
