Sachin Parikh shifts focus from Gujarati to Hindi theatre

Actor Sachin Parikh, who has acted in TV and Bollywood, used to be passionate about Gujarati theatre, but has now shifted focus to Hindi plays.
His recent play, Hum Do Hamare Woh, saw him doubling up as a producer as well as actor. He says, “Gujarati theatre was time-consuming and required me to travel across the state for two-three months. This meant letting go of offers from films and TV shows in Mumbai.So, I decided to pursue Hindi plays and turned producer.”

Also, Sachin loves negative roles. He says, “Negative characters are so vibrant that they do not leave any scope for the positive ones. Unless we have better scripts for TV shows, positive characters will hardly be doing anything.”
