‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actress Rupal Patel returns to TV with ‘Manmohini’

, who catapulted to fame with ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, in which she was seen as Kokila Sanghvi Modi, is all set to make a comeback after a gap of two years. She will join the cast of the supernatural thriller ‘

Manmohini

’.

Informs a source associated with the show, “Rupal is playing Kubharja, who has been ostracised from Behramgarh for the heinous crime of killing her own family. She comes to the Sisodiya Mahal at Mohini’s (

Reyhna Malhotra

) insistence. The latter wants to ruin the

Mahayagya

that Siya (Garima Singh Rathore) has organised.”

Rupal confirms, “I am very excited to be back on screen. The adrenaline rush is incomparable. I took a break after 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' wrapped up, as I wanted to give time to my family and kids. Since I love to travel, I invested my time in traveling a lot of places as well.”

Besides, being a character that she hasn’t attempted so far, her reason for talking up the show was her association with producer Prateek Sharma. She shares, “Prateek was the creative director on ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ and he has been very close to me since. He is an amazing person. So, the moment he approached me with this offer, I didn't think even twice before saying yes to it.”
