Popular TV show 'Anupamaa' is set to make its way to the digital platform with its prequel titled 'Anupama - Namaste America' where it will unravel the early life of its lead character.
In a promo shared by the makers, Anupamaa (
Rupali Ganguly) tells

(Gaurav Khanna) that the dream he sees for her, she had got a chance to live those dreams 17 years back. It has been Anupamaa’s dream to perform in stage shows worldwide, but those dreams were left unfulfilled. She also got a chance 17 years back.

The prequel will show Anupamaa’s early married life and give a glimpse into Anupamaa and Vanraj’s initial years.
The prequel added
Puja Banerjee to its cast recently, and is set to stream from April 25. Pictures from the prequel's set have been shared, giving fans a sneak peek into Anupamaa's residence during her early years of marriage.
The pictures give an idea about the physical setting and the universe of the show's prequel.
Bringing life to the prequel, the limited series will see the original cast of the television serial, with actors Rupali Ganguly and
Sudhanshu Pandey essaying the roles of Anupamaa and Vanraj, respectively. Joining them will be Alpana Buch,
Arvind Vaidya, and Ekta Sariya reprising the roles of Baa, Bapuji, and Dolly respectively.
Anupamaa has been successfully running since July 2020. It revolves around a Gujarati homemaker’s struggles to find her independence and voice in life.
