Rupali Ganguly, Rimi Sen: Popular TV celebs who failed to create an impact in Bigg Boss

Reality show Bigg Boss has featured several popular contestants over the years. What is surprising is that some of them despite their fame failed to impress the audience and were evicted from the show sooner than anyone expected them to. Here's taking a look at the list.

Rakhi is known for playing the part of Sweety Mathur in Hum Paanch. She managed to win the hearts of the viewers with her role in the successful show Dekh Bhai Dekh as well. Rimi Sen, who took part in Bigg Boss 9, was rumoured to be the highest paid contestant of the season. However, her stint failed to impress not only the audience but also the host of the show, Salman Khan. She was evicted after 50 days of her stay in the house. Otherwise Rimi's career in showbiz boasts of hit films like Hungama, Baghban, Dhoom, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri and Golmaal among others.

Karan Mehra is known for playing Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His successful stint in the daily soap and popularity he gained from the show, however, did not work in Bigg Boss 10 where he was seen as a contestant. He survived for only 34 days on the show.

Hiten Tejwani has done successful shows such as Kutumb, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Pavitra Rishta. However, he failed to make an impression in Bigg Boss 11. Though he continues to do well on television, Bigg Boss was a one-off. (Photo: Instagram)
