Rubina Dilaik talks about missing out on the same emotions with her dad that Abhinav Shukla shares with Jeeva and Edhaa; says 'I always wished that my children should have their father's love and care'

Rubina Dilaik has been enjoying the blissful phase of parenthood, the actress recently got candid about how Abhinav has been an exceptional dad and how she often gets emotional looking at them. In a podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, the Shakti actress also spoke about missing out on the same relationship with her own father the way she sees Abhinav with their daughters.

I was the first one to initiate the relationship, however, he was the first one to chase me down from social media. With Abhinav, I used to find him a charming personality standing in the chaos. He was the only one in the Industry who was least bothered about the superficial or materialistic gains that I had from my earnings. He used to only talk about his routine and life apart from makeup. His intelligence is so sexy that I got attracted towards it.

It has been 10 years together and I feel there is still a lot to know about each other but whatever I have known of him I can say that the way Abhinav gives himself to friends and family is beyond imagination. He is an exceptional father, the way I see him loving and caring for his daughters. I feel the proudest. This is what I have missed with my father so I always wished that my children should have their father's love and care as a priority.

God has been kind, when I see them together, it is such an emotional moment and I feel blessed. Abhinav was the first one to jump and say that he would change the diaper. He would clean our daughters. He has always been up and about when it comes to the responsibilities.

I remember when I went through the cesarian and I was under anaesthesia for 6-7 hours. And I faintly heard where the nurse talking about changing the diaper, Mumma had taken one daughter for changing and one was crying. So Abhinav says don't worry main diaper change karunga. The nurse was also not sure, but Abhinav said, 'koi baat nahi seekh lenge.' That is the day and today, he takes joy in doing simple things.

Abhinav takes joy in simple things, he says, 'I might not come for your PR Events and Parties but if you want to shift your home, if your car is stuck, call me and I will be the first one to come and help you all.' That is how he has been, no pretense just pure emotions for people.
