Rohit Kumar: It is a wonderful coincidence that Raghav and I are playing best friends in Suhaagan as well

Actor Rohit Kumar, who was last seen in Nima Denzongpa, is all set to enter Rashmi Sharma's show Suhagan. The actor will be playing the lead actor Raghav Thakur's friend in the show.

Rohit says, "I am playing the role of Niku. He is Krishna's (Raghav Thakur) cousin and best buddy. He is a funny guy and always calls himself 'Niku-The Genius'. Niku is a positive, humorous and happy-go-lucky guy. He keeps giving good advice to Krishna. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it turns into a nightmare!"

The show recently took a 10-year leap and Garima Kishnani, Anshula Dhawan and Raghav Thakur are now playing important roles in the show. Interestingly, both Raghav and Rohit's last show was Nima Denzongpa, in which they played the roles of best friends. And, now they are playing best friends in Suhaagan too. Sharing his experience of working with Raghav, Rohit says, "He is such an amazing actor and a lovely person. It is a wonderful coincidence and joy to work with him again. In our last show, we shot many funny scenes together. And we will keep the humour going in Suhagan too."

Rohit has earlier done shows like Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi. He also shared screen space with Abhimanyu Dassani and Shilpa Shetty in Nikamma, and Madhuri Dixit in Maja Ma.

Talking about his upcoming projects, Rohit shares, "I am doing two films, but I can't talk about that right now because they are both still in the initial stage."
