Rohan Mehra supports Kanchi's decision to quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Kanchi Singh has become the latest artist to quit the long-running show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' after Hina Khan, Karan Mehra and boyfriend Rohan Mehra.

Kanchi’s boyfriend Rohan Mehra played Naksh on the show, had left the show to enter the Bigg Boss 10 house. Rohan has now supported the decision of his girlfriend.
He posted an Insta story which he captioned “Wise decision, u deserve more..u were promised something else but nothing happened..not done.”

Earlier Kanchi confirmed the news, "Yes, I have quit the show. I didn't see any future for my character. I totally understand that shifting focus from a popular couple — Kartik and Naira — to any other character could be detrimental to the show, but my character was completely sidelined in the bargain. I wish the 'Yeh Rishta...' team all the best. I'll always be indebted to producer Rajan Shahi, who launched me in the industry. I would like to play meaningful characters now and have decided to take up only lead roles."
Rohan also posted a picture with Kanchi and captioned it "Look who's come on set"

Kanchi is currently serving her three months notice period and will shoot for the last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai around the end of September.
