Model and actress Urvi Shetty, known for her stint on Roadies XX, recently shared her harrowing casting couch experience, revealing how she overcame the trauma and emerged stronger.
Recalling the distressing incident, Urvi revealed that she once attended an audition where she was asked to “compromise” for work. What followed was even more horrifying—she found herself in a setup resembling a bedroom, decorated with candles, which immediately raised red flags.
“I had a very bad casting couch experience where I was asked to compromise. There was a whole bedroom setup with candles. When I told the person that I’m only into clean work, he said that I can’t get work without doing this,” Urvi shared.
Sensing danger, she immediately fled the scene, but her ordeal didn’t end there. As she ran, she noticed a car following her. Moments later, a man stepped out and attempted to forcefully pull her into the vehicle. Summoning all her courage, Urvi fought back and managed to escape.
The terrifying incident left her deeply shaken, and she admitted that she locked herself up for days to process the trauma.
