Rishi Khurana replaces Ram Aujla in Junooniyatt

In the show Junooniyatt, Ram Aujla was seen playing the role of Inderjit, but the actor has had to leave the show due to some personal reasons. Rishi Khurana will replace him and play Inderjit, who is Jordan's (played by Gautam Vig) father.
Stepping into another actor's shoes is challenging, said Rishi. He shares, "I feel it is a challenge because every actor has his own understanding of a character and the show.So he played the role of Inderjit to his best capacity and now that I will be playing that role, I have my own way of enacting a role. I will do my best and in a convincing way. The rest is upto the audience. I hope they like it too."
He further adds, "I know Sargun and Ravi Dubey for a while now as we have done Saas Bina Sasural together ten years back. Earlier too when we tried to work together, something always came up or I was doing another show. And when they reached out to me for this show, I was happy. However, at the same time, I wasn't sure if I wanted to shift to Chandigarh for the shoot. But now I am happy to be working with them."
He adds, "Shifting to Punjab and shooting for the show was an issue because I have been living in Mumbai for the last 20 years. But then I realised that to create something beautiful, one needs to come out of their* comfort zone. It's been around a week that I am in Punjab and I am shooting back to back and haven't got much time to do anything else. But once I am settled, I would like to explore the city."
