On Rise & Fall, Pawan admitted that the matter was moving towards separation. He said, “Pariwar ne kahin aur basaya. Woh zindagi basa toh usme bhi dhakka laga. Woh mera matter talaak mein chal raha hai.” Jyoti, in her own statement later, revealed that she never spoke to Pawan before their arranged marriage. She said problems began right after the wedding, but her family told her to adjust.
