Rinku’s wig woes

Going for a look change after a time leap is normal in any TV show. But for Rinku Karamarkar, who plays Taai in Yeh Vaada Raha, it proved to be a testing time.
The actress, who sported long hair before the leap, had to shorten her tresses to bring in a change in appearance. But, the wig that she was provided with, didn’t fit her. After a lot of trial and error, an exasperated Rinku sought the help of her personal hairdresser to perfect her look.

She says, “The wig that I was given didn’t rest properly on my neck.So, the show’s hairdresser snipped it to suit my needs. But again, on the next day while shooting, I was uncomfortable with the wig and felt something was not right. This routine continued for almost four days, and he would cut and add hair to adjust my wig every day. There was so much chaos and I thought it was looking shabby as well. So, I informed the production house and took the wig to my hairstylist, who altered it to suit my neck shape.”
