Asmita Sood and soon after, rumours about the two being more than friends started circulating in industry corridors. Before the show got over, they allegedly broke up over a misunderstanding. He was then roped in for

With such experiences in the past, the actor now prefers to stay aloof on Naagarjun sets and hardly interacts with co-stars, unit hands claim.
When we reached out to Pearl, he admitted that he likes to keep to himself. "However, it's not that I am disconnected with my team. I am just focusing more on my character since I play the title role. It is a huge responsibility, so I am just concentrating on work and ensuring that there is no distraction. It is not that I don't talk to them at all, but I prefer to stay in my room rather than chill with everyone."
