Vipul Roy is estatic as his show Ghar Ghar Mein has completed 250 episodes. “The show started in Delhi and, after a year, I'm back here to shoot the 250th episode,” says Vipul Roy.Even after winning India's Best Screen Personalities in Zee 'Cinestar Ki Khoj' in 2004, Vipul had his share of struggle. “Television shows were always a priority. Before I participated in the show I did not have a clue how to go about it.
But the show helped me by giving me an entry into Mumbai and the industry. The grass on the other side always looks greener but on reaching here, I realised how difficult it is,” he says.
Will Vipul participate in a reality show next? “I would love to host them but participating is a different ball game. I have participated in one and that was enough. I know all the gimmicks and there is hardly any reality in these shows. It's an emotional atyachar for the participants,” he says.
Ask him about his love life and he responds quickly, “I am seeing some one but don’t want to comment on it”.
So, is Bollywood the next step? “Yes, Bollywood is definitely on the cards. I am in talks with some filmmakers but I am waiting for the script which helps me grow as an actor,” says Vipul.
