' singer will be part of the music reality show '
The Voice India Kids
', in which she will be one of the mentors.
A source says, “Neeti started out as one of the members of the band Aasma, which won the music reality show 'Popstars'. She was also in 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla' and since then, has gone on to become a hugely popular name in the industry. She even won awards for her rendition of '
Ishq Wala Love
' and 'Jiya Re'. Neeti is known for the energetic numbers she performs, the latest in
Bollywood
being 'Tu Keech Meri Photo' and 'Taang'. Apart from Hindi, she is also a household name in the south and Gujrati film industry.”
The source adds, “Neeti believes all this was possible because of the training and exposure she received during her stint on television. Becoming a mentor for kids who are passionate about music, she feels, is a natural progression.”
