Rashami Desai makes her mother's birthday special by taking her to Indian Idol 12 finale; see the latter happily posing with winner Pawandeep Rajan

Several in the country were waiting for the Indian Idol 12 finale to take place and that also included Rashami Desai's mother. On August 15, which was also her birthday, Rashami Desai treated her mother by taking her to the sets of the reality show.
Going by the photos, it seems Rashami's mother had a great time and got a chance to pose with the winner Pawandeep Rajan.Not only this, she was all smiles with Arunita Kanjilal, and judges Sonu Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya.
Rashami posted the happy photos with the caption, "Don’t see the editing, just see the feeling. I'm grateful to my extended family...It was special & this means a lot to me...Happy birthday mommy @imrasila."

Indian Idol 12 finale that aired on Sunday had everyone hooked. The 12-hour long episode saw the finalists - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro, Mohd Danish, and Shanmukha Priya - battling it out for one last time.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Alia Advani appeared as guests along with several others including Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Anu Kapoor returned as the Antakshari host. Faujis were also invited to be part of the episode.
In the end, the winner's trophy was taken home by Pawandeep Rajan. Talking about the final moment, the singer told ETimes TV, "Yes, my family was here. A few of my friends also visited and they all were happy and excited. My mom was crying as I lifted the trophy."
