Ram Navami 2026: Lakshmi Niwas actress Manasi Joshi Roy on faith, says “Dharma resides not just in what we believe”
Ram Navami is a festival that brings people back to the idea of faith in action, where one realizes that one’s devotion is not just confined to performing rituals but also encompasses the way one lives. The festival of Ram Navami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ram and serves as a reminder to every person that one’s spirituality is reflected through one’s kind nature, discipline, and doing the right thing at the right time, even if no one is watching.
The festival of Ram Navami falls during the period of Chaitra Navratri and is celebrated by performing prayers, fasting, and the recitation of the Ramayana. To further enhance the spirit of the festival, Manasi Joshi Roy, who plays a lead role in Lakshmi Niwas, shared her thoughts on the meaning of the festival.
She said, “Ram Navami is a gentle reminder that dharma resides not just in what we believe, but also in what we do through prayer that grounds us, and charity that extends us to others. In these quiet acts of faith and kindness lies the true victory of good over evil.”
Talking about Lakshmi Niwas, the show began in January and has impressed everyone with its twists and turns. In the recent episodes, we saw that Lakshmi and Srinivas are happy after their got their daughter, Bhoomika married to Raj Bundela. They are happy to see that Raj is the perfect man for their daughter and he loves her a lot. But, what they think is not true.
Raj is an obsessive lover and he always wants to keep Bhoomika locked in their house so that nobody sees. He constantly keeps an eye on whatever she does and to whoever she speaks. He has installed CCTV cameras inside their house to know what she does. This obsessive behaviour and his dark past will create a lot of issues for Bhoomika ahead. Will Lakshmi and Srinivas be able to get their daughter out of this?
