The actress, who has been a part of several seasons of Bigg Boss as a wildcard contestant, chatted at length about Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, why she didn't support him initially and more. Rakhi on Bigg Boss' improved format
"Bigg Boss ka record hai ki koi wildcard nahi jeeta. I have gone so many times to Bigg Boss. People always told me that wildcards don't win. I wasn't hopeful he would win. I felt so good when MC Stan had won as he is 'aam insaan'. Bigg Boss ka jo abhi format hai woh itna sudhar gaya hai. The actresses, who have done serials on the channel, don't win anymore. And aam insaan jeet jate hain. Now anyone in the world can participate. And we can't predict who will win the show. I felt Manisha Rana or Pooja Bhatt would win the show."
On why she wasn't supporting Elvish Yadav earlier
"I can't believe Elvish got so many votes. I wasn't supporting Elvish Yadav because he has roasted me in many of his videos. But I am very happy for him. Congratulations to him on his win."
Takes credit for making Bigg Boss OTT a big hit
"I had launched Bigg Boss OTT last year by turning into a spider woman. I am glad that the OTT platform is working now. The credit goes to me. Yeh meri zindagi mein aisa hi hai ki kisi bhi cheez pe mein haath rakh dun toh woh sona ho jata hai (Whatever I touch turns into gold). It's a gift from God. It's a different thing that I don't have a sona in my life. But koi bhi show mein karun woh hit ho jata hai (Whichever show I do, it becomes a hit)."
Rakhi says, 'Bigg Boss winners have flop careers'
"Dukh ek hi baat ka hai jo bhi Bigg Boss ka winner banta hai na, unka career aage chalta hi nahi hai (It's sad that whoever wins Bigg Boss, his career fails). Problem yeh hai. Jo winners nahi hote humare jaise, hamari nikal padthi hai (Those who don't win, they go ahead in life). But I don't know if it's a 'shraap (curse)' or what, jo haarta hai woh baazigar hota hai. The one who wins takes money once, and is never seen afterwards."
Rakhi on why she doesn't want to win Bigg Boss and be only a wildcard
"I don't want to win Bigg Boss. I go for doing 'dhamaka'. Mein jaati hun tamasha karne. I like going in Bigg Boss. Just like visa stamp on passport, mere pe stamp laga diya hai Bigg Boss ne wildcard ka. Mujhe tab bulaya jaata hai jab sab log entertainment nahi dete, thande padh jaate hain. Then I go with a broom and a stick. I wake the sleeping snakes and naagins."
Rakhi warns Elvish of 'ghamand'
"I am happy for Elvish. He has roasted me a lot but I forgive him. I congratulate him. But ghamand nahi karna. And don't forget those who have made you win. Because this is what happens to winners."
Rakhi boasts of her long association with Bigg Boss
"Wildcard mein aake usne 'systum' toh hila hi diya hai. Kehtein hain ki sabko system ke neeche rehna hai. Nahi nahi hum system ke neeche nahi rahenge. Hum jahan khade ho jaate hain line wahin se shuru ho jati hai. Day 1 se aaj tak mein akeli ladki hun, Bigg Boss first se lekar abhi tak jo tiki hui hun. Dusre kahan kaunse kabr mein ghus gaye kuch samajh nahi aa raha (He has shaken the system by entering as a wildcard, they say people have to follow the system, but we are not like that, line starts from where we stand, I am the only girl who has been there right from Day 1 of Bigg Boss, I don't know which grave have others entered)."
