Shooting for his third consecutive movie in Lucknow, actor
Rajkummar Rao recently dressed as a dulha and danced in his own baaraat for the film 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana'. Dressed in a gold sherwani and pagdi, sitting on a horse-drawn carriage, with a noton-ki-maala around his neck, Rao shot for the baaraat scenes for nearly a week at different locations in the city.
For the first few days, the film’s crew and actors shot at a house on Havelock Road, which was decorated with fairy lights and flowers and shown to be lead actress
Kriti Kharbanda’s house in the film.

Rao is shown bringing his baaraat to her house with band-baaja, accompanied by actors KK Raina and Vipin Sharma. People from the city, along with local theatre actors, played the baaraatis.
Later, the shooting shifted to another location Shringar Villa in Paan Dariba, shown as Rajkummar’s house in the film, which too was decorated with lights and marigold flowers.
For all these days, the crew has been shooting all night for the shaadi scenes. “In fact, most of our film is shot at night because yeh kahaani hi raat mein set hai,” informs
Ratna Sinha, the director of the movie.
Dancing to the tunes of the 'sapera' and the 'naagin' dance, actor Vipin Sharma was living his character of the dulha’s mama for the baaraat scene.
