Niel Satpuda, who was last seen in the TV show Rajjo, is all set to play an interesting role in an upcoming show Fauji 2. Neil will play an army officer in the show.
He said, "After Rajjo, I was waiting for the right opportunity and I am glad I got a call for Fauji 2. Fauji 2 is a sequel to Shah Rukh Khan's show Fauji, which used to telecast during the 90s. Guauhar Khan is playing our commander in the show and it has been a great experience shooting for the show."
Ask Niel, if he got a chance to watch Fauji and he said, "I watched Fauji again for my preparation. It was a wonderful show and well-written show. Shah Rukh sir had a good role and he was the best in this show. The story was good and every other character stood out in the show."
Niel got known for his roles such as Sagar in Rajjo(2023) and Angad in Saam Daam Dand Bhed(2018). He has also played pivotal roles in TV shows Dharm Yoddha Garuda(2023), Mahabharat(2014) and Mere Sai(2019). Niel is an engineer from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The show Fauji was shot in 1989 and was directed by Lt Col Raj Kumar Kapoor. The show revolved around a new set of recruits as they begin their training to become commandos in the Indian Army. Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Lt Abhimanyu Rai. After Fauji, SRK acted in few more TV shows and then went on to become a Bollywood star in India.
