Rajeev Khandelwal shares his organic beauty routine: Meri wife itna pareshan hai mujhse
Rajeev Khandelwal opened up about his inclination towards organic living and natural self-care during a recent episode of his show, "Tum Ho Naa- Ghar Ki Superstar".
Introducing contestant Hema, Rajeev pointed out how men often complain about their wives spending too much time on makeup.
While on the subject, Rajeev talked about his own approach to beauty. Revealing that he shared the same mindset as Hema, Rajeev said, “Mera aur inka taste bahut milta hai, bahut similar hai. Main bhi organic mein bahut believe karta hoon. (Mine and her tastes are very similar, very alike. I also believe a lot in organic).”
As Hema spoke about consciously choosing organic products, Rajeev ended up sharing his own routine. He said, “Aapko bataun, main bhi bahut achhe raaste pe hoon. Mere bhi na jo ghar mein cheezein hain, mere apne beauty products, woh sab ke sab na aise hi hain multani mitti hai, kheera khata hoon toh chehre pe laga deta hoon, tamatar khata hoon toh chehre pe laga deta hoon. (Let me tell you, I am also on a very good path. Even the things I have at home, my own beauty products, they are all like this I use multani mitti, if I eat a cucumber I apply it on my face, if I eat a tomato I apply it on my face.)"
Rajeev further quipped, “Meri wife itna pareshan hai mujhse (My wife is fed up with me).”
Rajeev further reflected on his evolving mindset and his emotional connection with natural living. He stated, “Toh ye hi hai ki mujhe lagta hai ki bahut si organic cheezon se…. ab pata nahi usse mere skin pe kitna farak pada ya nahi pada, lekin at least mere mann ko bahut accha lagta hai, dil ko bahut accha lagta hai ki aap natural cheezon se apne aap ko sanwaar rahe hain, saja rahe ho (So this is just that I feel that with a lot of organic things... now I don’t know how much difference it has made on my skin, but at least it feels really good to my mind, really good to my heart that you are beautifying yourself, adorning yourself with natural things).”
During the episode, Hema even presented Rajeev with a thoughtfully curated hamper of herbal products.
