Actors from the state celebrated Rakshabandhan with full josh and fervour. While some of them flew down to their hometowns, others who couldn’t make it, celebrated the festival with their siblings in Mumbai.

'Tied rakhi to my fitness trainer'
Actress and Miss Universal Peace and Humanity 2014 Ruhi Singh, who hails from Jaipur, couldn’t be with her family due to professional obligations. But she tied rakhi to her fitness trainer, Sunil Bhandarkar, stylist Chintan and publicist Abhinav.

“I feel a brother-sister relationship shouldn’t be restricted to just blood relations. I tied rakhi to Sunil as he is more than a fitness trainer to me. I also tied rakhi to Chintan & Abhinav as they have become my family now. Having said that, I missed being in Jaipur a lot this Rakshabandhan. Since I couldn’t tie rakhi to my brother Rishi in person this year, I sent a rakhi to him,”she said.
